Corporate Keynote Presentation: Project Portfolio Management – the CSN way Jörgen Manneby, Head of PMO at CSN
This presentation is about the use and adaptation of Project Portfolio Management at CSN with focus on three key areas: “Prepare”, “Be Present”, “Measure and manage”. Prepare: Our portfolio is linked with our strategic objectives. It is evaluated, prioritized and balanced and each project has a proper business case. Large or prioritized projects have a project manager with a track record of success on similar projects. Be Present: The PMO is responsible for the results of our projects, so we have to be present. Best practices are documented and shared. Measure and manage: Project performance is monitored actively. Our set of metrics and the project portfolio “dashboards” allows us to “manage by exception”.
